Following our campaign to save Hornchurch Police Station, our petition has passed 1000 signatures. 

 

 

Hornchurch and Upminster MP, Julia Lopez is meeting with Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley on April 20th. Crime has increased across our area so residents need a permanent police base now more than ever. Julia will present the petition so that:

  • A local police presence is secured to deter and tackle rising crime
  • Police patrols are more effective and efficient
  • The 350 new police officers in our unit, as a result of the Government's manifesto promise, have a permanent base
