Following several attempts to establish why the public toilets in Upminster Park are closed and when they will reopen, your local Conservative team are calling for clarity from the council. Your Upminster council candidate in 2022, Adam Baker, has written off to the Residents Association calling for more information on why the "temporarily closed" toilets have remained closed for a substantial amount of time.

As the toilets are in a central location in Upminster, providing an important use to many residents, we believe that the toilets should go back to pre-pandemic opening times. This will encourage people to use Upminster's shops, park and other open spaces as well as keep Upminster hygienic.
