A serving Cllr since 2018 during which time I have helped many residents with their problems and concerns I including - planning applications, parking issues, dog fouling, ASB and many other issues. I worked with a fabulous school whose pupils created lots of lovely been for
Elm Park in Bloom & that year we achieved Gold.
I have sat on the following overview and scrutiny committees- Children and Families, Licensing, Highways, Environment and have chaired the Crime and Disorder O&S committee.
I am completely community focused, have taken part in many community events in Upminster & across the Borough, including litter picks and charity fundraisers.
Have been chair of Havering Street Watch since 2015 working with a wonderful group of volunteers & police officers to deter low-level crime and antisocial behaviour. This has seen me out and about across the Borough taking part in protection of day time economy events, keeping festival goers safe returning from the We Are Fstvl, International Women's Day events, leading out Havering Pride and much much more. In my spare time I also volunteer as an Appropriate Adult in police custody, supporting adults with mental health conditions and children through the custody process.
I have been volunteering for well over 20 years and I am proud to say my efforts have been recognised by a Mayor of Havering Civic Award I 2019 and a British Citizen Award I 2021.
