We are pleased to have Syed Kamall, one of our London MEPs and the leader of the Conservative group in the European Parliament, joining us to discuss how we can better relate to minority communities (particularly the Muslim community) and how to avoid the alenation of such communites that is increasingly leading to atrocities throughout the world. The discussion will be held at our offices in Butts Green Road.
The Association AGM will be held at the Hornchurch Library as usual and will be followed by a social interlude with free drinks and snacks.The event is open only to paid up qualifying members. Such members will be sent a formal notice and agenda in January.
Book now for our next trip to Brussels to visit the European Parliament. We will leave London on the Eurostar early on Sunday morning and return to London by 19.00 on Monday evening. We will stay at a central Brussels hotel and have plenty of time for exploring Brussels on Sunday and Monday afternoons. The visit to the Parliament itself will be on Monday morning. We will be told how the Parliament works and what current legislation is being processed. There will be ample opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
